Meet Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30PM in the Duval wing on the 2nd floor.

 

Elementary Music & Missions is a joint effort between the Children's Ministry and the Music Ministry with the purpose of offering the elementary-age child a quality experience in both Missions and Music. 

 

In music, children learn praise songs, anthems, and the great hymns of the church.  The elementary choirs also have performing experiences in worship services. 

 

In missions activities, children learn about world and local cultures and the needs that are present within them.  They also learn how they can be active in serving others. 

 

One example of the collaborative efforts between Missions and Music is when the children go on a "field trip" each December to a local facility to sing Christmas carols and bring gifts to the residents. 

 

The 1st-5th grade musicians present the Children's Musical each spring.

 

Our Transformers kick-off event for this year will be Wednesday evening, September 2nd at 6:00PM in the CLC gym.  Regular Transformers schedule begins Wednesday, September 9th.
