Class Descriptions

 

MISSION POSSIBLE
Small groups for younger singles; Professionals, graduate students.... Bible Study classes are offered during the 9:30 and 11:00 hour for those in their 20s, 30s and early 40s. Become involved with a group of your peers through Wednesday night Bible study, outdoor excursions such as white water rafting, retreats, movie nights, and more. This class cooks regularly for the Shelter as it's mission project.
Wednesdays at 7:30pm in A317: Come connect with other young singles for a time of fellowship, disicpleship and prayer as we discuss the book “When God Speaks” by Henry Blackaby and Richard Blackaby. For more information contact Kelly at x221 or email singles@fbctlh.org.

UNITY
Never married, divorce, or widowed, this class is for you.This Bible Study, for those 50+, enables class members to increase their knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, makes application of teachings to personal lives, and increases one's understand of a relationship with God. Special events vary from picnics to potluck dinners. Bibles distrubution and the GriefShare support group are their mission projects.

WOMEN'S CAREER
The women's intergenerational class tackles the spiritual issues that women confront personally and professionally. Spiritual Development is emphasized through insightful Bible study. This class' mission projects are ECHO-Bethany Apartments, and Recycle for Missions.

WORD SEEKERS
A multi-age class of discovery for seasoned and new Christians alike. Study topics include: prayer, relationships, how to study the Bible, etc… This class participates in department and church-wide mission projects.
