First Baptist regularly supports a variety of ministry organizations in the Tallahassee area, including ECHO, the Florida Baptist Children's Home, A Women's Pregnancy Center, and many others. Each year we hold a special First Love Missions Blitz where we send an average of 500 people to paint buildings, build wheelchair ramps, sing for the homebound, sort items for charity, and do numerous other projects to share love in Jesus' name. Another annual project is Builders for Christ, when a team from FBC travels to help other churches in need of construction and renovation projects.

Need a Hand?
Our college students are looking for odd jobs (yard work, window cleaning, raking leaves, etc.) to earn scholarship money for upcoming college ministry activities such as Spring Retreat, Challenge and Mission Trips. If you are interested and need an extra hand contact the Student Ministry Office at 222-5470 x421. Thank you for your help and support of our college students.
Make a Change with Soup Labels!
For many years First Baptist members have been collecting Campbell’s soup labels to send to our missionaries. The missionaries use these to receive various items for their work from the Campbell’s Soup Company -- after school supplies, games, computers, sports equipment, even much needed buses!
Campbell’s Soup Company still plans to continue this program, but they are now requiring that the UPC Bar Code symbol on the back of the soup label be sent in instead of the front label. Be sure to save your bar codes and give them to Jean Fernald or leave them in the church office. This is such an easy way to make a huge difference!
