Let’s face it, things cost money when you are in college and you have a million and one things going on money isn’t exactly pouring in but at First Baptist Church we never want money to be the reason that you don’t participate in something. So to help offset the cost of our trips and retreats we have fundraisers which have in some cases paid for entire trips.

Boston Butts (On sale now! $21. Pickup date March 21.) - Boston what????? It’s meat people and it is some of the best eating that you will ever have anywhere in Tallahassee. Mr. Chafin, one of our members, graciously helps us by not only letting us use his cooker but by also cooking the meat for us. These literally sell themselves and so much so that we can’t accommodate all of the demand but we need your help to take orders and to help prepare them.

Odd Jobs- There is not a week that goes by that people don’t wish that they had an extra hand for some type of job and the college hand seems to be one that they like the best. Whether it is mowing, moving or anything else that someone might find a youthful college student useful for we have the opportunity. You don’t need to be skilled you just need to be willing to go and possibly get a little dirty.
