Good Friday Experience

Sanctuary Open from 11:00am until 6:00pm
Our Sanctuary will be open to you and the community on Good Friday as we remember Christ’s love and sacrifice. As you enter our Sanctuary, you will see a room lit with candles and hear beautiful music. You will receive a small booklet that leads you through a personal journey of reflection, prayer and the Lord’s Supper. Take time to remember.

Springtime Tallahassee is coming up fast! We are currently recruiting people to help with one hour shifts during the event. Signup sheets are available in Sunday Morning Bible Study classes or in the Welcome Center after both services. Help us welcome people to First Baptist through our hospitality services! Olan Mills directories will continue to be available in the church office from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday. One copy of the directory is free for all pictured families. Additional copies are availabe to all for $10 each.

Next 55+ Luncheon
May 9, 2008
Are you a juggler, actor, musician or fire dancer? The next 55+ club luncheon is still a few months off and we need your help. We would like to have a talent show as our entertainment. We invite you to get some of your friends together, make an act and come show your friends your talents! We would love to have as many of you as are interested in participating. Call Lenoir in the music office for more information 222-5470 x 201. We hope to see you and your talented self in May.

Order Easter Lilies
Cost: $9.00 each
Easter is just around the corner, and we will decorate our sanctuary with beautiful Easter lilies. If you wish to place one or more lilies in memory of or in honor of a loved one, order envelopes are available in the main church office, or contact Lenoir Brewer at x201 or lbrewer@fbcthl.org. Orders need to be received by Monday, March 17. Thank you for your donation. These lilies will be delivered to the homebound after Easter Sunday.

Need a Hand?
Our college students are looking for odd jobs (yard work, window cleaning, raking leaves, etc.) to earn scholarship money for upcoming college ministry activities such as Spring Retreat, Challenge and Mission Trips. If you are interested and need an extra hand contact the Student Ministry Office at 222-5470 x421. Thank you for your help and support of our college students.

Florida Baptist Children’s Home
MARCH REQUEST: DISH TOWELS, DISHCLOTHS, and POT HOLDERS
This month we will welcome your donations of dish towels, dishcloths, sponges, and pot holders. They will be a big help to us in completing our kitchen chores. All colors and designs can be used.
Collection bins are in the College Avenue foyer, the Welcome Center, and by the elevator on the first floor.

High School Seniors Parent and Student Meeting

All high school seniors and their parents are invited to attend a meeting about the upcoming Senior Sunday in May. We will discuss the possible date of Senior Sunday and plan the details. Summer Youth Camp in Ridgecrest, NC
This summer, the youth are attending Centrifuge in Ridgecrest, NC for youth camp from June 9th - 14th, but you need to sign-up ASAP if you are interested in going because there are only a few spots still available. For more information, contact Brett Brandewie at 933-8665.

Youth Choir Fundraiser
