What is First Ladies?
First Ladies represents any woman at FBC. Our group is not defined by age or season of life. In fact, that is what makes our group so wonderful. We are young, midlife, older, married, single, and we desire a time to celebrate our lives together as Christian women.
Not only do we offer Bible studies throughout the year, we also meet quarterly for socials and coordinate retreats. Our desire is to build community among women at our church, form friendships and support each other through our relationship with Christ as our foundation.
Won’t you join us? Contact the Women’s Ministry at x221 for more details!

A Note of Thanks from Women on Mission:
We would like to thank all who have contributed to our church’s Spring Offering for North American and Global Missions through the SBC and CBF. A special note of thanks goes to Omega McAuley who was in charge of this emphasis. Omega worked tirelessly to make this offering a success. To God be the glory!
-Lois Walker, Women on Mission Coordinator
To My Dear Church Family,
My, how you have been there for me during the illness and home-going of my husband Hank. You have shown the love of God in so many ways: prayers, cards, visits (especially the Monday morning men), memorials, and the abundance of food from the church as well as individuals. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
In Christian love,
Gerry Garland
Dear Church Family,
Over the last six or seven weeks with Pete and I both having some major health issues, our First Family has once again been our support system. Your prayers, cards, visits, phone calls, and food have been overwhelming. We have talked about how churchwide you have reached out to us in so many ways, including all our wonderful staff. With each year, God’s Grace becomes more precious and real, and you our church family are truly a people who extend His Grace. We love you and thank you all.
-Pete and Tawanna Hay |
