This year’s Holy Week and Easter schedule provides a new worship opportunity – and a new opportunity to invite your friends to First Baptist: The Living Last Supper.
Join us on Maundy Thursday, April 21 at 6:30PM in the sanctuary.
In this presentation depicting a DaVinci-like setting of the Last Supper, 13 FBC men will portray Jesus and his disciples, re-enacting the events of the upper room where Jesus gathered with his closest companions on the eve of His crucifixion. You will be challenged to ponder your own loyalty and love of the Savior through this compelling drama and the music of our Sanctuary Choir and full orchestra which will be woven throughout. At the climatic point of the evening, Jesus will invite the congregation to come forward, and in a “you are there” type experience, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Lord’s Supper by receiving bread from the disciples and dipping it in Jesus’ cup. You and those you love will not want to miss this moving and inspirational time of worship.
Please note: The Living Last Supper, on Thursday evening, takes the place of the Good Friday evening Tenebrae service this year.
